Aufgrund seiner Vielseitigkeit und den hohen Anforderungen an taktisches Werkzeug bewährt sich der traditionelle Tomahawk auch heute noch in einer Vielzahl von Szenarien.
Als moderne Interpretation vereint der Tactical Tomahawk 2 die traditionelle Form aus der Pionierzeit mit Materialien, die dem heutigen Stand der Technik entsprechen.

So besteht der Axtkopf aus schlagzähem Kohlenstoffstahl 1065, verbunden mit einem leichten Griff aus stoß- und schlagfestem Polymer-Kunststoff. Die Verteilung der rund 600 g des Tomahawks fällt somit klar kopflastig aus, wodurch sich erstklassige Schwungeigenschaften entwickeln.

Die starke Strukturierung des Griffs in Kombination mit einem optional angebrachten Fangriemen garantiert ein sicheres Handling. Für den sicheren Transport wird der Tactical Tomahawk 2 mit dem Stiel voran im robusten Nylonholster verstaut.
